to an online data service. Some data services transmit over seven
megabytes of data per hour. This is equivalent to a 3,000-page encyclopedia
running through your computer every hour. With The LiveWire Professional™,
all data is maintained automatically on your computer using an advanced
circular file system. The efficiency of this design saves time and
disk space.
The LiveWire Professional™ also uses internal DPMI memory
management to enable up to 16 MB of RAM. This allows you to track
up to 50,000 symbols on a single PC. The database is actually
structured to run in available RAM, while being simultaneously
saved to your hard disk. This means that screen response and symbol
changes are FAST!
LiveWire is a DOS-based program that will operate and multitask
reliably under Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, DESQview 386
or OS/2.
