Exchange Agreements For Professionals
If
you are considered a professional user by the stock exchanges,
the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ require signed hardcopies of their
respective Professional Subscriber Agreements.
How
Do I Determine If I Am A Professional Or A Nonprofessional?
"A nonprofessional subscriber is defined as an individual
person who receives market data for his/her own personal, non-business
use and who is not registered in any capacity with any self-regulatory
body, futures contract market, the SEC, the CFTC, or any state
securities regulatory body. All other subscribers that do not
meet the definition of nonprofessional subscribers are subject
to the rates for professionals." (from
NYSE FAQ webpage).
Agreement
Process For Professionals
To expedite the process of receiving approval from the different
exchanges, which each have slightly different requirements, please
carefully follow the procedures outlined on this page. These agreements
are in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf) and require that you have an
Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. To quickly determine
if you have an Acrobat Reader installed on your system, click
on one of the agreements listed below. If an Acrobat Reader is
installed on your system, it will automatically load itself and
open the agreement .pdf file. If Acrobat Reader does not open
when you click on one of the .pdf files listed below, you will
need to download the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe (click
here to go to the Acrobat Reader download site).
Step
2. Run LiveWire Internet. The first time you run the program
it will prompt you to enter a User ID and Password. You need to
create a User ID before proceeding to Step 3, as this User ID
will be used by the NYSE. After you have successfully created
a User ID and Password, write down your User ID and return to
this page and proceed to Step 3. Note: If you have any difficulties
installing LiveWire Internet, call CableSoft Technical Support
at 805-646-0094, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST.
Step
3. Complete and submit the NYSE Authorization Request Form
below. We will use this information to contact NYSE and find out
if they need you to execute and submit a NYSE Professional Subscriber
Agreement.
Step
4. If CableSoft receives word from NYSE that it does not have
a valid subscriber agreement on file, you need to complete the
Agreement
For Receipt Of Consolidated Network A Data And NYSE Market Data,
a .pdf file.
Important
NYSE Agreement Instruction Notes: Click on the above link
to load the .pdf file. In the upper left corner of the form is
a box labeled "Vendor Account Number." Put CABSOF- followed
by the User ID you set up in LiveWire Internet. For example, if
your User ID is Jones, put CABSOF-Jones in the Vendor Account
Number field. This is extremely important, as you will be faxing
this agreement to NYSE, and they need your Vendor Account Number.
Next,
from within Adobe Acrobat, type in your contact
information (NYSE requires this information be typed). Finally,
print the form, sign page 1, initial pages 2, 3 and 4, and fax
the complete Agreement to NYSE at 1-212-656-5848. Keep on file
the original signed copy of the Agreement in case the NYSE requests
it. Once NYSE has received and approved your Agreement, they will
notify CableSoft, usually within 1-2 business days.
Step
5. View, print and sign the AMEX
Agreement (a .pdf file, 15KB).
Step
6. View, print and sign the NASDAQ
Agreement (a .pdf file, 39KB).
Step
7. Fax the signed AMEX and NASDAQ agreements to CableSoft,
253-679-2397.
Step
8. Mail the signed original copies of the AMEX and NASDAQ
Agreements to CableSoft, Attention Contracts, 530 W. Ojai Ave.
Suite 109, Ojai, CA 93023.
Upon
receipt of your fax of the Agreements, we can proceed with establishing
an account for you with the exchanges. We will contact you by
phone or e-mail once we have both received approval from NYSE
and received faxed copies of your AMEX and NASDAQ agreements.
